Pastor Alan Brown

Pastor G. Alan Brown II, O.S.L., is a graduate of Martin Methodist College and United Theological Seminary.
 
For more than a decade, he has served churches in Tennessee and Ohio.
 
Alan was a 2009 recipient of the Hoyt Hickman Award for Excellence in Liturgical and Sacramental Scholarship and Practice.
 
He is most passionate about the sacraments, worship, preaching, missions / outreach and building relationships within the church and the community.
 
Pastor Alan is a member of The Order of Saint Luke (O. S. L.) www.saint-luke.org
 
If you have any pastoral care needs, questions about the church, would like to receive the sacrament of holy baptism, have your child baptized, discuss Christian marriage or unite with the church in membership please see Pastor Brown.

Lois Bradford

Lois has been the church secretary for 23 years.  She performs all the secretarial duties and is the information center of the church.  Some of her tasks include creating the weekly Sunday bulletin, greeting visitors, and creating the monthly newsletter.

Kyle Hintze

Kyle is the Youth Director here at Hayes Memorial UMC and has been for the past 3 years.  He received his undergraduate degree from Heidelberg College in education and received his Masters of Education from Tiffin University.  Kyle currently teaches 3rd grade in Fremont.  He administers all youth activities and events including the Youth Club every Wednesday night at 6:00.  He also is in charge of the 9:30 a.m. Sunday school and Jr. Church as well as the development and maintenance of the church website.

Steven Boegli

Steve graduated from BGSU in education and worked on a music minor. He has participated in marching bands, show choir, Men's Chorus, concert bands, and symphony band. Steve's duties include directing the adult chancel choir and handbell choir here at Hayes Memorial. He has also directed the bell choir here twice for almost 10 years and the chancel choir for almost 6 years.

Alamar Arriaga

Alamar is our Hispanic Outreach Coordinator.  She has held this position for 7 years and now has offices at both Hayes Memorial United Methodist Church and Gibsonberg Faith Methodist.  Her program has helped hundreds of people, especially those in need of clothing, food, or diapers.

Ron Goehring

Ron is our organist in the traditional service.  In 1984 he agreed to help out for a little while as the organist and 27 years later, he is still doing it.  Ron is a lifelong resident of Fremont, Oh and grew up in the HMUMC. 

 

Ben Wallick
 
Ben is a native of Pataskala, Ohio. He has a wife, Carrie, and a stepdaughter, Ashley.  
Ben is currently taking the initial steps in responding to God’s call to ministry and ordination within the United Methodist Church.  Ben has had experience preaching, teaching youth and adults of all ages, and leading in worship music and community outreach activities. He was recently accepted into the Master of Divinity program at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, where he will begin his studies this fall.
 
Ben graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Music. He played trumpet in the OSU marching band for five years, and also plays the piano.
